Char Elizabeth

Canadian born of Jamaican parentage, this talented award-winning songwriter, arranger, vocal producer and singer adds her sultry style and mellow tone to beats that often blend multiple genres 

Char began her professional career upon moving to Brooklyn, New York. She would be introduced to the late great Jason Mizell-aka Jam Master Jay, and signed as an artist and writer on his label.  Jay would help her obtain an artist deal with Def Jam Records, parent company to JMJ records.  She later went on to work with the legendary writers/ artists Full Force, receiving her first platinum record award.
